If Nature Can
As Above So Below Heaven reflected in creation. I have heard, and read many Mystics that have said that the Mundane world is but a shadow of the Arcane. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Creation is a reflection of the Arcane, not the shadow.
If it were the shadow then light could not enter without making profound changes. Light does enter the Creation, and within that light there are subtle changes, changes that add to the gathered light of this world.
If creation were a shadow then that which is possible in Heaven would not be possible on Earth. There would be a sharp and definite distinction between the two. But everything that is possible in Heaven is also possible on Earth. And surly anyone who has experienced even the slightest taste of the Spirit knows that the line between them and the Creator is fuzzy at best.
Hence the ancient axiom "As above so below." We are made of the Universe. We are made from the Universe. We are made in the Universe. Perhaps we are the Universe.
The Big Bang is such a misnomer named by the opponents of the theory. The name was meant as a slur to those who believed it. After all these years since its inception we have come to see that it is most likely true. Like Relativity it has proven to fit nicely with every discovery that we make in Cosmology.
It would be better named The Big whoosh, because it kind of just whooshed into existence from a tiny particle smaller than an atom to nearly its present size in a manner of milliseconds.
When it whooshed into being it was made of Hydrogen, and Helium and nothing else. When the Hydrogen and Helium condensed into huge stars hundreds of time larger than our sun they cooked the Hydrogen, and Helium into heavier, and heavier elements before they blew themselves apart thus spreading larger atoms like Carbon, and Oxygen, and many of the other elements needed for life.
These heavier atoms themselves were captured into new stars which did the same thing over again making even heavier elements like Gold, and Iron. Then once again these heavier still atoms were put through the process in new stars then blown out into the Universe to continue the construction of all the natural elements that make up our sun, our planet, and our very bodies. We are in fact made of stardust.
Therefore we are constructed literally of pieces of the Universe at large. The atoms in your feet may have been created in an entirely different star than the atoms in your head. All of the potassium in your body was cooked up in one type of star, the iron in another, and the magnesium in yet another type of star. It took at least three different stars to make all the atoms of your body. How amazing it that?
Now here we are an end product that allows the Universe to think about itself, explore itself, and recreate itself in a whole new way. Now you have met God. What is God? It's simple really. God is. And so are you.
